The Guilderland Garden Club has sponsored many
interesting speakers for our monthly meetings on
such topics as:
- landscaping with native plants
We have also visited Innisfree in Millbrook, New York; Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz; the Berkshire Bird Sanctuary and Botanical Gardens in Petersburgh; and Yaddo in Saratoga Springs.
This year we will be presenting programs on a variety of garden topics.
Meetings of the Guilderland Garden Club are held at 10 a.m. on the second Monday of the month, March thru November. Beginning in October, the Club is busy making ornaments for the Annual Greens Show which is held the first weekend of December.

The Garden Club developed a perennial garden, with the help of the Guilderland Parks Department, in the summer of 2009 at the Mynderse-Frederick House in Guilderland Center. The garden consists mainly of flowers from gardens of Club members. This is an ongoing project. Our goal is to create gardens that reflect the dignity and history of this wonderful house.
