About Us
The Garden Club developed a perennial garden, with the help of the Guilderland Parks Department, in the summer of 2009 at the Mynderse-Frederick House in Guilderland Center. The garden consists mainly of flowers from gardens of Club members.

Our new ongoing project beginning in 2019 was working with the Town to develop and maintain landscaping at the historic Schoolcraft House on Western Avenue. Our Club's Garden Committee members work diligently to provide the public two beautiful gardens to enjoy.

These are ongoing projects. Our goal is to create gardens that reflect the dignity and history of these wonderful houses. Donations to help maintain these gardens are greatly appreciated.

The Guilderland Garden Club has sponsored many interesting speakers for our monthly meetings on
such topics as:

cutting gardens
Shaker gardening
rose gardens
butterfly gardens
wildflowers
landscaping with native plants

We also plan day trips to local sites of interest.
